📊 “Where the AI does best” series: How to use the Results filters · The AI's best sport · The best markets · The best leagues · The best combination.
Why the league matters in an AI bet

The league isn't a detail: it changes the amount of data, the sharpness of the odds, the number of goals and even the way the game is played.
An AI can understand one league very well and another one much less, and you can see it in the track record.
That's why the League filter on Results is one of the most useful for deciding how much to trust a pick.
How to read the numbers in 30 seconds
To pick an AI's best league, counting hits isn't enough.
| Number | What it is | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Win rate | The percentage of picks that came in. | Compare it with what the odds implied (implied probability). |
| ROI | Net profit ÷ money wagered, using each pick's stake. | It's the same ROI Results shows when you filter. |
| ± (margin) | How far the ROI can move by chance alone (95% confidence). | If it's larger than the ROI, it can't be told apart from luck yet. |
| vs odds | Win-rate points above or below what the odds implied. | If it's positive, the AI beat the odds on those picks. |
| Picks | The sample: how many picks are behind each number. | More picks, more reliable. Only groups with a big enough sample enter the ranking. |
With few picks, the ROI swings wildly, which is why the ranking doesn't get carried away by a nice-looking number.
In Gambeta: reviews performance is calculated at a flat stake (always betting the same amount), so the figures don't match this series, which uses each pick's stake just like Results does.
Matching the odds is already hard: they are the toughest opponent in betting.
Gambeta manages it overall and pulls ahead of them in a few corners, which are the ones we show below with their margin of error.

World Cup 2026
✅ Positive even with the margin
🌟 The best of World Cup 2026
- Team bet on: Argentina: 4 of 4 correct (100%).
The samples are small: they're for keeping an eye on, not for promising anything.
−60%0+60%
Likely ROI range: from +1.9% to +42.4%. The white dot is the current ROI; the yellow band shows how far it could move by chance alone.
In a 46-pick sample it won 78.3% and the odds implied 65.6%.
That is 12.7 points above what the odds implied.
Even after subtracting the margin of error, the ROI is still positive.
It was positive in both halves of the track record (+9.6% and +37.1%).
It's a national-team tournament that has already been played: a closed sample that adds no picks until the next World Cup. Guide: World Cup 2026 betting.
Too good to be true?
An ROI of +22.2% from only 46 picks sounds too good to be true.
That's why we flag it with an asterisk: with so few picks, a single streak changes everything (margin ±20.3).
We still show it, because we'd rather you see it with its warning than hide it.
That's the difference between a track record you can verify and one that is only advertised.

Too good to be true?
An ROI of +17.0% sounds too good, and doubting it is healthy.
We take it seriously for three reasons: the sample is 155 picks, it was positive in both halves of the track record and it hit more often than the odds implied.
What we can't promise yet is that it will last: its margin is ±16.6.
We publish that margin on purpose, so you can check it yourself and don't have to take our word for it.

Too good to be true?
An ROI of +11.6% over 65 picks is a very good sign, but not yet a conclusion.

Leagues under construction: where the AI is still learning
They're leagues where the results haven't looked good yet, and we show them anyway: that's what makes the rest believable.
But there's already some good inside each one.
| League | Picks | Win rate | vs odds | ROI (±95%) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| · | Liga MX | 38 | 50.0% | −9.1 pts | −20.2% (±29.6) |
| · | NFL | 51 | 43.1% | −8.8 pts | −18.4% (±26.1) |
| · | La Liga | 83 | 50.6% | −6.2 pts | −12.0% (±20.7) |
🌟 What's already working inside
- Liga MX: market Both teams to score (5 of 6)
- La Liga: market Home to win (7 of 10)
The samples are small: they're for keeping an eye on, not for promising anything.
A negative ROI today is not a sentence: with more picks it can change.
Before following a pick from one of those leagues, look at its track record.
Data as of , from the public track record (pick by pick in the open CSV). ROI = net profit ÷ money wagered, using each pick's stake: it is the same ROI the Results page shows when you filter (it doesn't include the long-term World Cup bets). The margin (±) is the 95% margin for chance: if it is larger than the ROI, the difference can't yet be told apart from luck. It updates itself every day and is not a recommendation of where to bet.

Big leagues and small leagues: what changes for the AI
| Heavily followed leagues | Less followed leagues | |
|---|---|---|
| Data | A huge amount | Less |
| Odds | Heavily worked on by the bookmakers | May be less sharp |
| Surprises | Fewer | More |
| Challenge | Finding value is harder | There's less information |
Neither of the two guarantees anything: what counts is each league's track record and its margin of error.
And one rule about samples: leagues with few picks can show a spectacular ROI by chance.
Why you can trust the numbers (and check them)
A track record that only shows the good isn't useful for making decisions.
That's why we publish everything, with its margin of error, and give you the tools to check it.
| What we do | How you check it |
|---|---|
| ✅ Every pick is logged before the match | In the track record, with its odds and its date. |
| ✅ Nothing is deleted: hits and misses both stay | Results shows them all, the ❌ too. |
| ✅ The full track record can be downloaded | There's an open CSV, pick by pick. |
| ✅ Every ranking comes with its margin of error | Look at the “ROI (±95%)” column. |
| ✅ The numbers recalculate themselves every day | The date of the data is at the foot of each table. |
That transparency is the foundation of the product: what you see is what there is.
How to see this ranking yourself on Results
You don't have to take our word for it: the same data is on the Results page, pick by pick.
- Go to Results (the “Results” button in the menu).
- Open the League filter in the bar.
- Choose an option: the cards at the top and the chart recalculate.
- Always look at how many picks are behind the number.
The guide to the five filters is in how to use the Results filters.
What to do with this ranking
- Before following a pick, look at how the AI has done in that league: the League filter shows you in two clicks.
- If the league has few picks or a huge margin, treat it with more caution and lower your stake.
- A league with a negative ROI today is not a sentence: it can improve with a bigger sample.
- Combine this ranking with the one for markets and see the best combination.
None of this is a promise of profit: no AI hits every time.
Only play what you can afford to lose and see how to bet responsibly.

Which league does Gambeta do best in?
In the one that currently tops the ranking above. The ranking goes from highest to lowest ROI, among the leagues with enough picks, and it is recalculated every day. Look at how many picks it has too: a league with more picks has a firmer reading.
What are the best leagues to bet on with AI?
The 5 in the table above, according to the real track record. None of them is safe: every row comes with its margin of error, which tells you how much of the result could be luck.
Why can't a league with few picks be ranked?
Because with few picks the ROI swings wildly by chance. The best one on a small list is usually just luck, which is why the ranking requires a minimum number of picks and sorts by ROI.
Does the AI perform the same in every league?
No. The track record shows differences between leagues, but many of them are within the margin of error. What we can say is where the sample is already large and the result holds up over time.
Where can I see the picks for a particular league?
Every league has its page with today's picks at gambeta.ai/pronosticos and its guide on the blog; the cards above lead to each one.
