The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals run Sunday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, on indoor hard courts. The season's top eight players are split into two round-robin groups of four; the top two in each group reach the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 21, and the final is Sunday, Nov. 22. As of Oct. 6, three players have qualified: Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz.

ATP Finals 2026 schedule: dates and start times

Each day has a daytime and an evening session, with singles and doubles.

Those are the tournament's times, and it notes the program is indicative. Matches in a session are played back to back, so a singles match's real start depends on what comes before it. Turin is six hours ahead of Eastern and nine ahead of Pacific (the U.S. is on standard time from Nov. 1):

Who is in the field: qualified players as of Oct. 6

The eight spots go to the top of the Race to Turin, the ranking of this season's points, locked the Monday after the last ATP Tour event of the year. As of Oct. 6, three players are in and five spots are open:

  • Jannik Sinner. The defending champion. He won Wimbledon in 2026 and was the first to lock up a spot.
  • Alexander Zverev. The 2026 French Open (Roland Garros) and U.S. Open champion. He qualified in early August.
  • Carlos Alcaraz. The 2026 Australian Open champion. He qualified on Sept. 16 and is in the field for the fifth straight season.

Being qualified does not guarantee a player takes the court: if someone withdraws injured, an alternate steps in.

The defending champion

Sinner won the 2025 title by beating Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in the final without dropping a set all week, and collected $5,071,000, the biggest payout in tournament history.

Format: two groups of four and crossover semifinals

  • The groups. The No. 1 seed goes into Group A and No. 2 into Group B; the rest are drawn in pairs. Each player faces the other three in his group.
  • Who advances. The top two in each group reach the semifinals, and the winner of one group plays the runner-up from the other. Wins come first; if players are level, head-to-head and then sets-won and games-won percentage. So every set and game can matter right up to the last group match.
  • The matches. Singles are best-of-three sets with a tiebreak in every set, the third included (no match tiebreak).

For bettors: losing the opener eliminates no one, and a player who has already clinched can enter the last group match with a different motivation than an opponent who needs the win. Favorites often carry short odds, so convert the price to implied probability and ask whether that 70% or 80% is realistic.

Surface and keys to the tournament

It is played on indoor hard courts. With no wind and no sun in the eyes, the serve usually carries more weight, but that is a general read: how the court plays shows up in the first matches. It is also six days and three matches, so fatigue matters more than in a long draw, and a retirement or last-minute alternate changes the groups and the lines.

Tennis betting markets: what you can bet on at the ATP Finals

The most common markets; none is a sure thing. A refresher on reading the numbers is in our guide to betting odds.

  • Moneyline (match winner). Who wins; no draws in tennis. If a player retires, each sportsbook has its own rule (some void the bet), so read it first. In American odds, Player A -200 and Player B +170 imply about 66.7% and 37.0%; the total of roughly 103.7% includes the sportsbook's margin.
  • Set betting and total sets. Best-of-three ends 2-0 or 2-1. «Over 2.5 sets» means a third set.
  • Total games (over/under). A bet on the combined games in the match, which can run from 12 (6-0, 6-0) to 39 (7-6, 6-7, 7-6). Books set the line higher for an even matchup and lower when there is a clear favorite.
  • Games spread (handicap). A head start in games is added or subtracted. At -3.5, the favorite must win by four games or more across all sets.
  • Group winner and tournament winner (futures). Long-term bets that pay out at the end of the tournament.

To compare a price with your own estimate: value betting. To avoid over-betting: what a bankroll is.

What gambeta's AI publishes in tennis (and what happens with the ATP Finals)

gambeta's AI publishes for free, on the home page, the tennis picks for today's ATP and WTA matches that have market odds: the pick, the odds, the confidence level and a suggested stake. How it builds them and how to read one is in the AI tennis predictions guide and AI for tennis; how it has done, pick by pick, is in the verified track record (in Spanish).

What we can say today about the ATP Finals: the AI publishes a pick only when a match has odds in its data source, and as of Oct. 6, 2026 that source does not carry an ATP Finals market. If it opens one, the picks go on the home page and we will say so here. If not, the tournament may go without an AI pick: no pick means no pick. The AI keeps publishing tournaments that do have odds. For the other year-end event, see the WTA Finals in Indian Wells.

Bet responsibly

This is information, not an invitation to bet. Betting is for adults only (gambeta.ai is 18+; the legal age is 21 in most U.S. states), it can be addictive, and no prediction, human or AI, guarantees a result. Sports betting is legal in many U.S. states but not all, so check your local rules. Wager only money you can afford to lose and set a limit first. If gambling is a problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
