Tennis is ideal for a statistical model: individual, no draws, and an official ranking that orders players by level. The ranking-gap model
It takes each player's ATP/WTA ranking (ESPN) and applies a logistic model over the ranking gap: the wider the gap, the higher the probability of the better-ranked player.
A fair price, because there's no market
Here's the difference with soccer and baseball: sportsbooks don't price most ATP/WTA 250 events. Instead, the AI posts a fair price = 1 ÷ probability, and picks modest favorites (56%-67%) to respect the -200 (1.50) floor.
Minimum odds of -200 (1.50)
No tennis pick is published shorter than -200 (1.50). That rules out heavy favorites at tiny prices where the juice isn't worth it.
Automatic resolution
Each pick auto-resolves from the ESPN winner. If a player retires or the match isn't played, the pick is voided (stake returned).
