The rule in one line
Decide the amount first, then the stake.
Bankroll
The monthly amount you can lose without touching rent, food, school fees or savings.
Unit
Stake 1 % to 2 % of the bankroll per bet. Example amounts: a budget of 20,000 naira gives 200 to 400 per bet; 3,000 shillings gives 30 to 60; 300 cedis gives 3 to 6.
Limits
A daily and a monthly limit, written down before you start. When you reach it, you stop.

Staking styles compared
Pick one and keep it.
| Staking styles compared | Flat stake | Percentage of bankroll |
|---|---|---|
| How it works | Same amount every bet | 1 % to 2 % of the current bankroll |
| When you lose | Stake stays the same | Stake falls with the bankroll |
| Risk of ruin | Higher if the stake is large | Lower, it shrinks as you lose |

Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most.
How much should I bet?
A small part of money you can afford to lose: 1 % to 2 % of your bankroll is a common starting point.
Can a staking plan guarantee profit?
No. A plan limits losses and keeps you in control; it cannot turn a losing bet into a winning one.
What if I keep losing?
Stop for the day, review your records and check your limits. Never borrow money to bet.
