Hiring professional tipsters: what to ask before you pay

What separates a professional from somebody with a channel, what you can demand in writing, and when you simply do not need one at all.

Professional tipsters live on being right with a method, and they can show it: a complete track record, losses included, and an explanation of the edge behind each play. If they cannot show that, they are not professionals: they have a channel.

What professional means here

Not a certificate or a qualification: it means the work is done with a method. A professional defines their market, explains why a price is wrong and measures performance against that price, not against memory. Everything else is somebody who publishes hunches consistently.

What to ask for in writing, beforehand

The complete record for the period they claim to cover, not a selection. The markets and leagues they genuinely follow. How many plays they send per week. How they deliver and at what time. And what happens in a month when they send nothing. Asking in writing is not distrust: it is the minimum for any service.

Hiring professional tipsters: what to ask before you pay

The most common red flag

The promise of profitability. Nobody can guarantee a positive month, and whoever does either does not understand variance or knows that you do not. The second flag is silence about bad runs: every real service has had one and can talk about it.

When you do NOT need to hire anyone

If you stake small amounts infrequently, the gap between a good service and a free one is smaller than the gap between betting with discipline and betting on impulse. Fix your staking and your own record first; pay for information afterwards.

The club alternative

Several people together can pay for tipsters none of them could afford alone, and the cost per head falls a long way. You lose personalised attention and you gain access. For most people, that trade is worth taking.

What we offer

We do not sell one person's hours: we sell our team's maximum-conviction pick, one at a time and with the result published, plus access to a channel where all of us together pay professional tipsters. See both options →
