Verified on August 18, 2026 against the 54 main App Store storefronts, using Apple's public API. Availability by country changes without notice: if you're going to switch your account's storefront, double-check first.

Betsson holds local licenses in several markets and publishes a different app for each one. That's good (the app is tailored to your country) and confusing at the same time: searching just "Betsson" can surface another country's app, which won't work with your account.

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for "Betsson".
  3. Check the developer before installing: it has to match the name in the table above exactly.
  4. Tap "Get" and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your password.
  5. Open the app and log in with the account you already use on the web.

Web app on the home screen (PWA)

It doesn't touch your Apple ID and doesn't depend on which country your account is set to. It's the route worth trying first.

  1. Open Safari (it has to be Safari: on iPhone, Chrome doesn't offer this option) and go to the Betsson mobile site.
  2. Log in or sign up, and wait for the page to load fully.
  3. Tap the Share button: the little square with the upward arrow, bottom center.
  4. Scroll down the menu and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  5. Confirm the name and tap "Add". You get an icon on your home screen that opens full screen, with no browser bar.

Switching your Apple ID storefront

It works, but it has real costs and goes against Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. The full breakdown is below, no sugarcoating.

  1. Open the App Store and tap your profile photo at the top right.
  2. Tap your name to open your account details.
  3. Go to "Country/Region".
  4. Tap "Change Country or Region" and pick Chile. — that's where the Spanish-language regional app is published
  5. Accept the Terms and Conditions of Apple's media services.
  6. Apple will ask for a payment method and billing address from that country. If it lets you pick "None" as the payment method, pick it.
  7. Go back to the App Store, search for "Betsson", and install it.

  1. Open Google Play and search for "Betsson".
  2. Check the developer and make sure it's not a stats or news app with a similar name.
  3. Tap "Install".
  4. Open it and log in.

This is the normal route on Android for real-money betting apps: Google Play doesn't list them in many countries, so the operator distributes the installer from its own site.

  1. On your phone, go to the official Betsson site. Type the domain by hand instead of searching for it: clone sites buy ads on the brand name.
  2. Find the app download link. It's almost always in the footer or in an "Android App" banner.
  3. Download the .apk file. Chrome will warn you that this type of file can be harmful: that's the generic warning for any APK, not a verdict on this particular file.
  4. Open the file from Downloads. Android will ask for permission to install from that source: enable "Allow from this source".
  5. Install, open the app, and log in.
  6. Go back to Settings and turn that permission off when you're done. It takes a minute and leaves your phone as it was.

Switching your Apple ID storefront: what actually happens and what doesn't

This is the part that stops almost everyone, and fair enough: it sounds like you're about to break something. Let's separate the real fears from the invented ones, because they're not the same.

None of this happens

  • You don't lose photos, contacts, notes, or anything in iCloud
  • The apps you already have installed aren't deleted
  • You don't get logged out of WhatsApp, Instagram, or your bank
  • Your Apple ID doesn't get blocked for changing country: it's an option Apple offers inside its own app
  • It's not permanent: you switch back to your country with the same five taps, whenever you want

This does happen, and it's worth knowing upfront

  • If you have subscriptions billed by Apple, the switch is blocked until you cancel them
  • The whole storefront changes: prices, currency, and accepted payment methods
  • Apple requires you to reside in the country you pick. You're stepping outside their terms, and that part is your decision, not a technical detail

Where we draw the line: Apple will ask you for a billing address in Chile. Don't fill in that form with made-up details. If you don't have a real address in that country, the web app we covered above puts Betsson on your home screen without touching your account or signing anything false — and that's what we recommend.

How to switch back to your country

Same path: App Store, your profile photo, your name, Country/Region, Change Country or Region, and pick yours again. The app you installed from the other storefront stays on your phone, but stops getting automatic updates while your account points to Chile.

Betsson doesn't have one app: it has three, each serving a different market. Betsson Argentina: Apuestas is only in the Argentine storefront. Betsson: Apuestas Deportivas covers Chile and Peru.
